  • Ensure consistent and reliable travel options for people with dementia
  • Ensure the physical environment is accessible and easy to navigate
  • Develop and/or promote community activities that are inclusive of people with dementia
  • Identify the community spaces which may need to be made more dementia-friendly

Become a member of Dementia Friendly Guernsey

Dementia Friendly Guernsey welcomes support from across the community. The membership is made up of a wide cross-section of community groups, business organisations, health and social care providers as well as individuals.

Members decide what they can each do to help and deliver this as part of their commitment to the alliance. Our aim is to involve people with dementia in every aspect of our work so as to develop a strong voice for people affected by the condition and shape the community around their needs and aspirations.

If you would like to become a member or to find out more about how you can continue the charity’s work, please contact us by emailing: info@dementiafriendly.org.gg
